Technical difficulties getting in your way?
Just follow these remedies and have a great day!

Since our platform is so new, you may run into occasional glitches or technical issues as you explore our worlds. Please try to be understanding and patient as we uncover and resolve these bugs.

Please contact us so we can assist you. There’s usually a quick fix for most problems, and the more we know, the better we can improve your future experience, too.

We will respond as soon as possible. In the meantime, please try these possible remedies, in order. You do not need to complete them all; work your way down the list until the problem is resolved.

QUICK FIXES

1. Reload the Relm web page. This will solve most problems. It will ask if you want to restore your last location. Usually, you should select “OK” so you don’t have to find your place again. But if your avatar is stuck or lost, select “Cancel” to start over from the beginning.

2. Make sure you’re using the Chrome web browser on a computer. Relm is not yet optimized for mobile devices, tablets, or other browsers, so you may encounter more issues on those devices.

3. If it’s an issue with your view/perspective:

    1. If things are too small or too big, simply change your zoom level.
    2. On a trackpad or similar, be sure to zoom by swiping up and down with two fingers. Do NOT use the finger pinch, since that zooms your browser screen and often cuts off the Relm controls and creates other perspective issues. However, if you’ve already used the finger pinch to zoom in, any visibility issues can likely be resolved by using it to zoom back out.

3. If it’s a camera or audio issue, click the camera/audio icon at the bottom of the Relm screen and make sure your camera and audio are active by clicking their respective icons. Also, click the gear icon and use the dropdown menus to make sure that the correct camera, mic, and speaker are selected.

4. Try a hard refresh of the web page: clear your cache and cookies only for the current website by pressing Cmd (Command)+ Shift + R on a Mac, or Ctrl + Shift + R on a PC.

5. Wait 5 minutes and refresh again. Start with a standard refresh, and then try a hard refresh if needed.

6. Clear your browser’s cache and cookies, then relaunch the browser.

7. Restart your computer.

8. Try a different device.

9. If the problem is that a world gets stuck during load, click the logo 5 times fast to bypass some of the loading elements and enter the world. This method can cause more problems, so use it only as a last resort.

10. Message us and wait for help. We will do everything in our power to respond and help you resolve the issue as soon as possible.

We value hearing about your experience and are more than happy to help you resolve any difficulties!
